A field-recording of birds in their natural habitat. Recorded at the fran ulher natural area in bowie md. Recorded using a wildtronics parabolic microphone and a zoom h6. Birds include the carolina chickadee, northern cardinal, american robin, carolina wren, northern mockingbird, blue jay, white-breasted nuthatch, eastern towhee and swamp sparrow.

So far i've been pretty stunned by the performance of these capsules, which are significantly more sensitive than the built in microphones on the h1, and to my ears sound much less muddy. I'm particularly impressed by this because the capsules are running on the 2. 5v of plug-in power that the h1 delivers, which is below the minimum specs of the capsules. Even so there is remarkably little noise. I can only imagine how they would sound with a battery pack to deliver a full 5 volts!.
